Volunteers are needed to weed and water trees and plants in the school gardens, outdoor classrooms and natural play spaces at more than 50 Pittsburgh public schools that have been enhanced through Western PA Conservancy’s School Grounds Greening Project.

It’s a great opportunity to get outside and also help students connect with nature.

Supplies and training are provided, and all ages are welcome. No gardening experience is necessary.
