The PA Historical and Museum Commission's new mobile website can help connect smartphone users to the state's rich history, according to Sen. Richard Alloway II (R-Franklin).

Smartphone users who visit the PA Trails of History website can connect to the state's 2,300 navy and gold historical markers. The new mobile site automatically recognizes smartphones and other mobile devices, allowing users to locate markers quickly and easily.

"Our region is home to a vast number of locations of historical significance, and this new site will put our rich history at the fingertips of visitors and local residents," Sen. Alloway said.
