Kiski-Conemaugh Stream Team Sets Cleanup In Somerset County On Sept. 22

The Kiski-Conemaugh Stream Team and Paint Creek Regional Watershed Association, in cooperation with Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful, PennDOT, and the International Coastal Cleanup, are coordinating a fall litter cleanup along Little Paint Creek on September 22 near Windber, Somerset County. The cleanup will be adjacent to State Route 160 and Berwick Road. Volunteers are asked to meet at 8:30 a.m. at the pull-off along Route 160 where Little Paint Creek passes under the road, between Elton and Windber. Volunteers should wear sturdy shoes or boots, long pants, and weather appropriate clothing. Safety vests, gloves, garbage bags, bottles of water, and donuts will be provided. Questions?
