Bills Introduced

The following bills of interest were introduced this week--

House

Oil & Gas:  House Bill 96 (Godshall-R-Montgomery) further providing for the creation of trusts for unknown oil and gas well owners; House Bill 97 (Godshall-R-Montgomery) defining dormant oil and gas wells as part of estates.

Senate

Drilling Liability: Senate Bill 154 (Greenleaf-R-Montgomery) amending the Oil and Gas Act requiring disclosure that the landowner may be liable for damages done to other properties as a result of gas drilling.
