The new electronics recycling law is featured in the February issue of the Environmental Synopsis newsletter published by the Joint Legislative Air and Water Pollution Control and Conservation Committee.

Other topics in the newsletter include: cleaning up petroleum-contaminated brownfields sites, health impacts of smart electric meters, drinking water and wastewater infrastructure deficit, biofuel blending and more.

The Committee’s next Environmental Issues Forum is on March 18 and will feature a presentation by the PA Association of Conservation Districts.

The April 8 Environmental Forum will feature a presentation on new energy recovery projects to capture energy from wastewater flows.
