Winners Announced In Fishing's Fun In PA Sweepstakes

The Fish and Boat Commission’s “Fishing’s Fun Sweepstakes” continues to be a great way for everyone to have a chance at winning fishing trips with expert anglers across the state and fish for all types of fish species.

In addition, Cabela’s $500 gift cards offer another exciting chance at winning in the sweepstakes. The sweepstakes is open to the public with no purchase necessary to enter.  Weekly drawings will be conducted through May 5.

Among the trip prizes are two fishing trips on Lake Erie, individually provided by Lake Erie Ultimate Angler and Dr. Bob Ferraro (Cabo Express Charters) with generous support of dinners and hotel stays provided by Bel-Aire Clarion Hotel and Conference Center, Victor’s Restaurant and Scott Enterprises.

Central Pennsylvania trout fishing and southeastern Pennsylvania bass fishing trips have been provided by TCO Fly Shop with accommodations provided by Riffles & Runs Bed and Breakfast. Selected winners have their choice of a bass or trout fishing trip with accommodations provided by Wilderness Voyageurs, and a western Pennsylvania bass or trout fishing trip provided by International Angler.

Like float fishing? A float fishing trip on the Delaware River with overnight room and dinner for two is also being offered through West Branch Angler.

“These statewide trip prizes not only highlight the great fishing opportunities our Commonwealth waters offer, they also show how our agency can partner with anglers who have graciously donated guided trips to showcase our fisheries across the state,” said PFBC Executive Director John Arway.

In addition to these fishing trips, Cabela’s has made a very generous donation to the total sweepstakes prize package with $5,000 worth of gift cards.

“Cabela’s has been a long-time partner with the Commission in a number of programs and promotions, and we are very grateful for their generous participation in our sweepstakes,” added Arway.
