Charles Bier, the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy senior director of conservation science, just created a new episode of Field Notes, the Conservancy’s periodic podcast.

In this new Field Notes, Bier describes his experiences while working as a scientist in Western Pennsylvania. He has a broad background in ecology and biodiversity conservation issues and has been with WPC since 1981.
