Kettle Creek Watershed Tree Plantings May 4, 6th

The Kettle Creek Watershed Association will hold two more riparian tree planting events on May 4 and May 6.  The Association serves the watershed in Tioga, Potter and Clinton counties.

The May 4 event will be held near the Oleona Bridge and volunteers should arrive by 8:30 at the Cross Fork Fire Department parking lot.  There will be boxed lunches and water provided to all who can attend.

Volunteers for the May 6 event should meet at 8:30 at the Cross Fork stream Bridge and feature over 55 students and teachers helping to plant over 8 acres of trees.

The students will also be releasing the fingerling trout they have raised from eggs from their  Trout in the Classroom project.   Let us know if you would like a boxed lunch.
