Keep Philadelphia Beautiful Appoints Feldman Executive Director

Keep Philadelphia Beautiful's Board of Directors announced Thursday Michelle Feldman, current Commercial Corridor Manager and Communications Director of the Frankford Community Development Corporation, will succeed Phoebe Coles as the organization’s Executive Director starting April 15.

Feldman, a lifelong Philadelphian, brings to the position of Executive Director a depth of experience in community and economic development coupled with a creative vision for advancing the mission of Keep Philadelphia Beautiful across the city.

“We are excited with Michelle joining Keep Philadelphia Beautiful and are sure that she will help move the City forward and build on the great work of Phoebe Coles,” stated Daniel P. McElhatton, Chair of the Board and a former member of Philadelphia City Council.

“Keep Philadelphia Beautiful’s mission is vital to the future of the City,” Feldman said. “I am excited and honored to take on this new role, and to work throughout Philadelphia to help build even more vibrant and sustainable neighborhoods.”

Keep Philadelphia Beautiful is an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to engaging individuals to take greater responsibility for improving their community environments by providing resources, education, assistance and promotion.
