Susquehanna River Forum Set For May 8 On Smallmouth Bass, Water Quality Issues

Do you care about the health of the Susquehanna River, smallmouth bass, and the role that local water quality plays in our health, communities, economies, and quality of life?

Then join the Chesapeake Bay Foundation and its partners on May 8 at 6:00 p.m. for the first in a series of public forums about the River.  Speakers include:

-- Dr. Vicki Blazer, Research Scientist at USGS Leetown Science Center, National Fish Health Research Laboratory;

-- Geoffrey Smith, Susquehanna River Biologist, Fish and Boat Commission;

-- Robert Little, MD, President, Harrisburg-Hershey Physicians for Social Responsibility; and

-- Harry Campbell, PA Executive Director, Chesapeake Bay Foundation.

The forum will be held at the Midtown Scholar Bookstore, 1302 N. Third Street, Harrisburg.
