Penn State Agriculture and Environment Center, in partnership with Davis Organics, Chesapeake Bay Foundation, Tri-County Conewago Creek Association and other Lower Susquehanna partners, has established a native tree nursery to provide free trees to landowners interested in planting projects this fall.

Free trees are available for riparian buffer and "turf to trees" projects in Dauphin, Lancaster and Lebanon Counties.

Stock is limited and will be provided on a first come, first serve basis.

By planting these trees, landowners will be helping to protect and improve local water quality.  Planting trees is one of the easiest and most cost effective ways to filter pollutants and reduce stormwater runoff to streams.

Funding for this program is provide by the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation.
