Hearing On Gas Royalty Transparency Issues By Senate Committee June 27

The Senate Environmental Resources and Energy Committee will hold a public hearing June 27 to receive testimony regarding royalty stub transparency issues and post-production costs from the development of natural gas, according to Sen. Gene Yaw (R-Lycoming), Majority Chair of the Committee. The hearing will take place in Hearing Room 1 of the North Office Building in Harrisburg starting at 9:00 a.m. Participants testifying before the Committee include: Pennsylvania Farm Bureau, National Association of Royalty Owners, Marcellus Shale Coalition, Bradford County Commissioners and Attorney Chris Jones of Griffin, Dawsey, DePaola and Jones, PC in Towanda. Because of time constraints, there will not be an opportunity for a public comment period. However, written testimony will be accepted by the committee.
