Governor’s Office Publishes Regulatory Agenda For Next Six Months

The Governor’s Office published the agency-by-agency Regulatory Agenda for the next six months in the July 6 PA Bulletin starting on page 3813.  Some of the significant regulatory proposals listed in the Agenda include--

Agriculture

-- Biofuels: Chapter 70 changes required under the Biofuel Development and In-State Production Incentive Act.

-- Agricultural Land Preservation: changes to Chapter 7- Clean and Green, and Agriculture Conservation Easement Purchase Programs required by recent changes in law.

Environmental Protection

-- Water Supply Replacement-Surfacing Mining Chapters 87, 89

-- Areas Unsuitable for Surface Mining Chapter 86

-- Handling and Use of Explosives Chapter 25

-- Oil and Gas Well Program Chapter 78 Act 13 environmental standards, permit fee increases
