Call For Presentations, Posters Keystone Coldwater Conference February 21-22

Proposals are now being accepted for presentations and posters for the 2014 Keystone Coldwater Conference, titled “Coldwater Resources: Current Practices in Conservation, Protection, and Restoration” Proposals are due September 20. This conference, hosted by the Pennsylvania Council of Trout Unlimited, will be held on February 21-22, 2014 at the Ramada Inn Conference Center in State College, Pa. Proposals are welcome on topics related to the conservation, protection and restoration of our coldwater resources in Pennsylvania. We want to hear about: Successful projects; Effective monitoring and assessment efforts; Research projects; Lessons learned; and Best management practices. Presentations should highlight research, case studies, proactive community action, policy and regulations, or targeted outreach and advocacy that have played a part in ensuring environmental protection. Each speaker will be given up to 45 minutes to complete their presentation, plus 10 minutes for Q & A.
