Delaware Source Water Collaborative Hosts August 15 Webinar On Christina Watershed

The Delaware River Basin Source Water Collaborative is hosting a free webinar featuring the City of Wilmington’s and United Water Delaware’s local partnership approaches to protecting drinking water in the Christina Basin on August 15 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.

Matt Miller, Water Quality Manager for the City of Wilmington, Delaware, will discuss how local partnerships played an integral role in the development of a Source Water Protection Plan to protect water supply for future generations.

Nancy Trushell, Director of Engineering for United Water Delaware/Pennsylvania, will present a water utility’s experience with creating a Watershed Control Plan which relies on partnerships with agencies, regulators, and landowners to help achieve drinking water compliance.
