Volunteers will help plant about 300 tree saplings along the creek. WPC staff will offer a brief training and informational session about its current initiative to plant 20,000 trees in riparian zones along streams and rivers throughout the region. Participating members will also have the opportunity to explore the area. Register online or by phone at 412-586-2340. (Reprinted from the July Water, Land, Life, WPC’s monthly online newsletter.) |
