Keep PA Beautiful is urging groups and volunteers to register their events now for the 2013 International Coastal Cleanup set to run from September 1 through October 31.

Your events can help cleanup Pennsylvania’s streams, rivers, lakes and any litter area or illegal dumpsite.  It does not need to be in close proximity to water, since trash travels in our waterways.

Groups who register for ICC events will be eligible for free trash bags and gloves, while supplies last.

Nearly 8,000 volunteers from 48 counties across Pennsylvania canvassed their communities to remove over 714,000 pounds of trash and debris from Pennsylvania’s waterways and coastal regions during the 2012 International Coastal Cleanup event.
