Technical Guidance & Permits

The Department of Environmental Protection published notice of final technical guidance on Category 33 and 38 exemptions from air quality permitting for drilling operations and notice of certification requests under the Nutrient Credit Trading Program.

The Fish and Boat Commission published notice of additions to the list of Class A Wild Trout Waters and additions and removals from the list of Wild Trout Streams.

Final: DEP ID: 275-2101-003. Title: Air Quality Permit Exemptions—Categories No. 33 and No. 38. Description: Consistent with the provision of 25 Pa. Code § 127.14 (relating to exemptions), the Department may determine sources or classes of sources which may be exempt from the plan approval and permitting requirements of 25 Pa. Code Chapter 127 (relating to construction, modification, reactivation and operation of sources). In accordance with 25 Pa. Code § 127.14(d), the Department is finalizing an amendment to the Air Quality Permit Exemption List for Category No. 33, pertaining to compressed natural gas fueling and Category No. 38, pertaining to oil and gas exploration, development, production facilities and associated equipment and operation.
