Enviro Biodiesel received a $165,000 planning grant for predevelopment plans and site assessment and design of a large-scale biodiesel production plant in Paint Township, Clarion County.

The facility, to be located on a 35-acre site six miles north of Interstate 80, will feature recovery and reuse of excess methanol, process water recycling and a compact design. The project will create at least 50 jobs.
