Wear sturdy shoes, track down your work gloves and join the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy for a member workday and outing from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on September 22, at a WPC-conserved property along the French Creek in Crawford County.

Volunteers will help plant about 300 tree saplings along the creek. WPC staff will offer a brief training and informational session about its current initiative to plant 20,000 trees in riparian zones along streams and rivers throughout the region. Participating members will also have the opportunity to explore the area.
