Conference on Sustainability in York County September 23

The Watershed Alliance of York, Inc., and other partners are sponsoring the “Pigs, Parks & Superstores: A Conference on the Sustainability of York County” on September 23 from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, at the Heritage Hills Conference Center in York.

The purpose of the conference is to start a public dialog on how the concepts of sustainability can be applied in York County. Keynote speakers are Thomas Hylton of Save Our Lands, Inc. and Dr. James Hamilton of Penn State University – Mont Alto Campus. Breakout session topics were selected from the YorkCounts Report.

The conference fee is $10, including lunch. Seating is limited to the first 190 persons registered. Registration required. Last date to register is September 16.
