West Penn Power Sustainable Energy Fund Invites Funding Proposals

The West Penn Power Sustainable Energy Fund is now inviting proposals for renewable and clean energy projects.  Proposals are due January 14. Specifically, the Fund invites proposals on--

-- The use of clean heat and power technologies that are integrated into high performance buildings/ community revitalization efforts;

-- The full-scale demonstration of new, innovative clean heat and power technologies within the WPP service region;

-- Projects that seek to utilize and build an infrastructure for bulk-delivered biomass fuel pellets for commercial, institutional, agricultural, and residential applications;

-- Biogas projects that capture and utilize methane for on-site heat and power projects; and

-- Deployment of innovative natural gas technologies for non-utility scale clean heat

and power projects.
