The Department of Environmental Protection is accepting applications for 2006 Coastal Zone grant from August 29 through October 24.

Eligible applicants include a political subdivision, an authority, a non-profit organization or an educational institution and must be located within the defined Coastal Zone geographic areas of the state and must also support the Coastal Zone Program’s mission to protect and enhance Pennsylvania’s coastal resources.

These grants must be matched on a 50/50 basis by all applicants.
