Capitolwire.com reported Thursday a federal judge dismissed a northeast Pennsylvania doctor's lawsuit against the Department of Environmental Protection over the Marcellus Shale law (Act 13), which allows physicians access to trade-secret hydraulic fracturing formulas.
Dr. Alfonso Rodriguez argued the law interfered with his ability to speak openly with his patients about health issues related to fracking. The order handed down Wednesday by federal Judge Richard Caputo of the Middle District found that Rodriguez lacked standing to challenge the law.
A copy of the decision is available online.
