The PA Resources Council, ECOvanta and other partners completed another year of successful electronic waste recycling collections and is excited to report the total pounds processed this year are 50 percent more than last year!

This year the program collected 409,268 pounds of electronics and last year 254,135 pounds.

Many of the collections were hosted by municipalities in an effort to reduce their overall solid waste numbers and add weight to DEP Recycling Performance Grant applications.

E-Waste recycling events were also hosted by company "Green Teams" whose mission is to encourage environmental best practices at work and at home. PRC's corporate e-waste collections help make that happen by providing convenient recycling opportunities for employees during what are typically considered "work hours."
