HELP WANTED: Waterways Engineering, Outreach Educator

The Department of Environmental Protection is looking for a new Director of the Bureau of Waterways Engineering and Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve has an opening for an outreach educator.

Waterways Engineering: This position functions as director of a departmental program responsible for directing and managing the construction of all water projects which are constructed by or for the Department, which includes dams, levees, flood walls, channel improvements and pumping stations. Outreach Educator: Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve is seeking a part-time temporary outreach educator to develop the program and curriculum for its new Plant Stewardship Index. Candidates must have a botanical background with strong plant ID skills, familiarity with Delaware River Basin native plants, excellent communication and presentation skills, and be proficient with PowerPoint/digital presentations. The position requires a 24-hour work week for four months.
