New Curbside Recycling Rule In Centre County To Be Enforced Beginning April 7

The Centre County Recycling and Refuse Authority would like to remind all curbside residents, that as of April 7, all paper recycled curbside must be bagged or bundled or it will not be taken.

Plastic or paper bags are acceptable for bagging and string or twine work for bundling.

Loose paper can blow out of recycling bins and recycling trucks causing litter in our yards and streets.

Bagging paper keeps it dry and helps improve the efficiency of recycling collections.

Please bag or bundle all newspapers together.  All other paper (mixed office paper, paperboard, magazines, catalogs, phone books and junk mail) should be bagged or bundled together.

For additional information on this, please call our office at 814-238-7005, or contact the Authority by sending email to: aschirf@centrecountyrecycles.org.
