Delaware River Source Water Collaborative Webinar May 8

It’s Drinking Water Week May 4-10 and the Delaware River Basin Source Water Collaborative is hosting a free webinar highlighting the USGS Water Census study of the Delaware River Basin.

This is the fifth in an ongoing series of free webinars dedicated to source water protection throughout the Delaware River Basin on May 8 at 2:00 - 3:00 pm.

Jeff Fischer, Project Chief, US Geological Survey will discuss the USGS Water Census study of the Delaware River Basin and how it will provide water-use and hydrologic modeling tools to evaluate current and future challenges of providing drinking water to 15 million people who rely on the basin, while also meeting other water availability objectives.

Peter Claggett, a geographer with the USGS, will discuss projections of future land use change that were developed as part of the study.
