Chesapeake Bay Foundation-PA Sponsors 2 Stream Buffer Plantings In June

The Chesapeake Bay Foundation-PA is sponsoring two stream buffer plantings in June in Dauphin and Lancaster counties, according to Kate Austin, PA Grassroots Field Organizer.  The plantings will be held--

-- June 7: CBF-PA, Penn State and the Grandview Chase Condo Association will plant 600 native perennials in a naturalized meadow along a stream in Lancaster County.

-- June 14: CBF-PA, Londonderry Township, Penn State Extension’s Greening the Lower Susquehanna Initiative will plant 600 trees along the Swatara Creek in Dauphin County.
