The Berks County Water and Sewer Association, in partnership with the Center for Excellence in Local Government at Albright College, are pleased to offer a full day seminar on Disaster Planning and Response at the Albright campus in Reading.

The seminar will prepare attendees for the inevitable event where emergency management and response is an immediate and required. Disasters can and will affect our water supplies with contamination by natural or created events or wastewater operations which will be interrupted and create the inevitable impact on further water supply operations. 

In addition the seminar will examine disasters which affect water and sewer services.  Likewise power, food and water, accessibility, emergency shelters, damage clearing and cleanup are all byproducts of effective planning and response.
