Electronic, Hard To Recycle Waste Collection Event In Allegheny County Aug. 16

On August 16 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the PA Resources Council will be holding a Hard to Recycle Collection at the Allegheny County Airport in West Mifflin. PRC will be collecting electronics, tires, polystyrene packaging materials, batteries and more!

While most items - including microwaves and computers - will be collected free of charge, individuals will pay a nominal fee to drop off alkaline batteries, tires, small Freon appliances, fluorescent tubes, vacuum cleaners, and small kitchen appliances. There is a suggested donation of $5 per TV collected.
