Help Wanted: PA SBDC EMAP Environmental Consultant, University Of PA

The PA Small Business Development Centers Environmental Management Assistance Program (EMAP), located at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, has an immediate job opening for a Senior Environmental Consultant.

The person in this position provides statewide environmental regulatory assistance including conducting emissions calculations, assisting with air, waste, water discharge permit applications, assisting with requests for determination, assisting businesses to develop corrective action plans based on Notices of Violation issued and interfacing with environmental regulators. Duties also include assisting with preparing publications, occasional public speaking and other duties as required. Travel required. 

A Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Experience with federal, state, and local environmental regulations (especially Pennsylvania regulations) and in-depth knowledge of environmental regulatory permitting processes.
