The House Environmental Resources and Energy Committee Tuesday reported out a bill increasing nuclear reactor and nuclear fuel transportation fees and a resolution urging DEP to use the latest technology to test for radioactivity related to oil and gas production--

-- Senate Bill 1355 (Yaw-R-Lycoming) increasing nuclear reactor and nuclear fuel transportation fees (was amended) and is on the House Calendar for action; and

-- House Resolution 913 (Mustio-R-Allegheny) urging DEP to use the latest technology to test for radioactivity related to oil and gas production activities- sponsor summary-- and is on the House Calendar for action.

Rep. Ron Miller (R-York) serves as Majority Chair and Rep. Greg Vitali (D-Delaware) serves as Minority Chair.
