Shale Drilling And Public Health: A Day Of Discovery Oct. 26-27

The PA League of Women Voters Pennsylvania Shale and Public Health Committee will hold its second annual Shale Drilling and Public Health: Days of Discovery Conference in Pittsburgh October 26-27.

Speakers for the event include--

-- Bernard Goldstein MD MPH Emeritus Dean & Professor University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health;

-- Reynold Panettieri MD University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine, Director, Airways Biological Initiative, Deputy Director Center of Excellence in Environmental Toxicology;

-- Lenore Resick PhD FNP-BC Duquesne University School of Nursing;

-- Pennsylvania’s “Environmental Rights Amendment” – featuring the Hon. Franklin Kury; and

-- John C. Dernbach, Esq. Widener Law School Co-Director Environmental Law Center.

The conference is free and open to the public, but space is limited so you must pre-register to attend.
