Senate/House Bills Moving

The following bills of interest saw action this week in the House and Senate--

Senate

Crude Oil Council: Senate Bill 279 (Hutchinson-R- Venango) creating the PA Grade Crude Development Advisory Council within DEP was amended and reported out of the Senate Appropriations Committee and was passed by the Senate.  A summary and Senate Fiscal Note are available.  The bill now goes to the House for action.

Development Around Transit Hubs: Senate Bill 385 (Pileggi-R-Delaware) will modernize the Pennsylvania Transit Revitalization Investment District (TRID) Act (sponsor summary) was reported out of the Senate Transportation Committee and was referred to the Senate Appropriations Committee.  (The bill is scheduled to be considered by the Appropriations Committee Monday.)
