Pipeline Inspections: Senate Bill 561 (Rafferty-R-Montgomery) consolidate pipeline safety inspection programs within PennDOT, rather than the PUC (sponsor summary). House Severance Tax: House Bill 500 (Dean-D-Montgomery) would impose a 4 percent “hybrid” severance tax (sponsor summary). Hazardous Materials Emergency Response: House Bill 677 (Hanna-D-Centre) increasing hazardous materials reporting requirements (sponsor summary).
