Trout Unlimited, the Department of Agriculture and the Berks County Conservation District are seeking qualified candidates for these positions--

-- Crew Leader: Trout Unlimited is seeking a qualified individual to serve as its Field Crew Leader from May to October for the Eastern Abandoned Mine Program and PA Eastern Brook Trout Habitat Initiative based in Lock Haven, Clinton County.  Deadline for applying March 20.  Click Here for all the details.

-- West Nile Virus Technician: The Berks County Conservation District is seeking individuals for a West Nile Virus Technician position to the assist the County WNV Coordinator in implementing the Integrated Mosquito Management Program.  Click Here for details.

-- Seasonal Entomology Employes: The Department of Agriculture is looking to fill 12 seasonal positions made available by the Entomology Program in the Bureau of Plant Industry. The deadline for applications is March 31.

These non-Civil Service positions in Entomology will involve insect surveillance to detect invasive agricultural pests, perform apiary inspection, or laboratory diagnostic work.

Up to two (2) Forest Insect Pest Aide 1 (FIPA1) positions are being hired to work in Northwest PA, South central PA, and Southeast PA.  Preferred candidates will be based in Erie or Berks County. Counties for survey include but are not limited to Erie, Crawford, Dauphin, York, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lehigh, Northampton and Berks.
