Close The Loop Hosts Give & Take Day April 18 In Monroe County

Close The Loop and Chestnut Township, Monroe County, are hosting a Give and Take Day on April 18 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Give and Take Days are a great way to reuse items that are too good to throw away but you just don’t have a use for them anymore – just bring along any reusable items between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., then take away anything you want from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. – it’s free! and you don’t have to bring something to take something.

Also attending will be a representative of the PPL Residential Retail Program with energy saving information on Energy Star lighting and appliances. The representative will also have recycling buckets present for compact fluorescent bulbs only. Bring your old CFL's bulbs and recycle them for free.

Rain or Shine event, if rain, we'll be inside the township building!
