Applications For Ralph W. Abele College Scholarships Due April 5

High school seniors have until April 5 to submit applications for a Ralph W. Abele Conservation Scholarship of up to $1,000. The Abele Scholarship was formed in 1991 as a living memorial to Ralph W. Abele who provided extraordinary leadership to the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission and to Abele scholarships are considered for students giving a priority to seniors or graduates of the Applicants must be admitted to or enrolled in an approved institution of higher learning with a stated objective of studying one of the environmental disciplines at the undergraduate or graduate level. A written application is required and the scholarship selection will be based on an applicant’s potential, his or her interest in conservation education and demonstrated commitment to conservation.
