Focus on November 2 Election

The House adjourned this week joining the Senate in concentrating on the election. Half the Senate and all of the House is up for reelection. They will both come back to voting session on November 8 to finish work on legislation to implement the $250 million water and sewer funding bond issue passed in the Spring, develop a larger environmental spending initiative through the Green Ribbon Commission, and legislation setting advanced energy portfolio standards and to authorize $10 million in funding for the Energy Development Authority.
