The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the August 29 PA Bulletin of final technical guidance related to Guidelines for Storage Tank Cleanup.

DEP published notice in the August 29 PA Bulletin of certification requests under the Nutrient Credit Trading Program.

The Governor’s Office published notice in the August 29 PA Bulletin of a disaster emergency resulting from severe storms on June 23.

Final Guidance: DEP ID: 262-4000-001. Title: Guidelines for the Storage Tank Cleanup Program—Identifying, Tracking and Resolving Violations for Storage Tanks (Corrective Action Process for Owners and Operators of Storage Tanks and Storage Tank Facilities and other Responsible Parties). Description: This guidance includes procedures for release reporting, release confirmation and corrective action requirements for owners and operators of storage tanks and storage tank facilities as well as other responsible parties. It defines the Department's procedures for taking enforcement actions, identifying, tracking and resolving violations, and compliance monitoring for the storage tank corrective action program.
