Kettle Creek Watershed Assn. Makes Progress On Little Lyman Run Project

The Kettle Creek Watershed Association is now in the middle of replacing a culvert on Cross Fork Creek Road in Abbott Township, Potter County, to allow for easier aquatic organism passage.  (See photo by Carol Hyde.)

This is a joint Trout Unlimited and KCWA project to allow for easier 'aquatic organism passage' (AOP) by removing the round sluice pipe. It will be replaced with a new culvert device with no bottom that currently restricts water flow and the new device will allow excellent fish/organism passage.

Phil Thomas from TU is the Habitat Project Coordinator.  Fox Hollow Construction of Mill Hall, PA, is doing the work.
