The Independent Fiscal Office Tuesday released a report on Pennsylvania natural gas production, which covers January to June of 2015, and summarizes raw data compiled by the Department of Environmental Protection.
The report displays the volume of gas produced and the number of producing and non-producing wells. The report also stated that the volume of natural gas produced increased by 15.8 percent compared to the same period in 2014, the number of producing wells increased by 21.7 percent, and the number of non-producing wells increased by 13.5 percent.
