Sunoco Mariner East Pipeline Public Forum Sept. 29 In Chester County

Chester County-based Pipeline Safety Coalition is hosting a free pipeline safety public forum at the Downingtown East High School, 50 Devon Drive in Downingtown, on September 29 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Attorney Carolyn Elefant will address siting regulations for natural gas versus hazardous liquids, Pipeline & Hazardous Materials Safety Administration representative Karen Gentile will address pipeline safety, an independent study of the Sunoco Mariner pipeline proposals as affect Chester County will be reported, and updates on the determination of eminent domain issues will be discussed. In addition to the presentations, a focus of the evening will be a community open microphone question and answer session.
