|
The PA Wildlife For Everyone Endowment Foundation invites businesses and supporters to participate in The Pennsylvania State Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program. The program provides tax credits to eligible businesses that make charitable contributions to an approved tax-exempt charitable organization. Wildlife For Everyone is an approved benefactor to receive Educational Improvement Tax Credit funds through the Central Pennsylvania Scholarship Fund. The fund serves as a collection and allocation agency for businesses paying tax in Pennsylvania choosing to participate. All tax monies designated by businesses to Wildlife For Everyone go through the Central Pennsylvania Scholarship Fund and 100 percent of funds are directly provided to Wildlife For Everyone. Entities eligible to apply for Educational Improvement Tax Credits are businesses authorized to do business in Pennsylvania who are subject to one or more of the following taxes: Personal Income Tax; Capital Stock / Foreign Franchise Tax; Corporate Net Income Tax; Bank Shares Tax; Title Insurance & Trust Company Shares Tax; Insurance Premium Tax; Mutual Thrift Tax; Malt Beverage Tax; and Retaliatory Fees under section 212 of the Insurance Company Law of 1921. A business firm will be approved for a tax credit equal to 75 percent of its contribution(s) to listed organization(s), up to a maximum of $750,000 per taxable year. The tax credit may be increased to 90 percent of the contribution(s) made, up to a maximum of $750,000 per taxable year if the business firm agrees at the time of application to provide the same amount of contribution for two consecutive tax years. To ensure the receipt and retention of the 90 percent tax credit, the business firm must make the same amount of contribution in each of the two consecutive tax years. Tax credits may be applied against the tax liability of a business for the tax year in which the contribution was made.
