Gilius Named Director of DEP’s Bureau of Oil and Gas Management

Ronald P. Gilius was named Director of DEP's Bureau of Oil and Gas Management this week in the Department of Environmental Protection. Mr. Gilius has more than 30 years of leadership experience and most recently served as the Chief of the Division of Surface Activities, Bureau of Oil and Gas Management, where he oversaw the development and management of the statewide Compliance Monitoring Program, Clean Streams Law/Clean Water Act Program, and the Residual Waste Disposal Program. Previously, he worked as a Chief of the Environmental Analysis Section in the Bureau of Mining and Reclamation and prior to that as a Civil Engineer in the Bureau of Design and the Bureau of Water Resources.
