The Environmental Quality Board published notice in the October 3 PA Bulletin (page 5920) of proposed changes to remining regulations.  The deadline for comments is November 2.   A copy of the proposed regulation is posted and comments can be submitted to DEP via its eComment webpage.

The EQB also published notice in the October 3 PA Bulletin (page 5943) of proposed changes to the Total Coliform Rule.  Comments are due December 1 and two public hearings are scheduled for November 3 & 5.  A copy of the proposed regulation is posted and comments can be submitted to DEP via its eComment webpage.

Technical Guidance & Permits

The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the October 3 PA Bulletin of final technical guidance on Underground Storage Tank Cathodic Protection Systems.

DEP also published notice in the October 3 PA Bulletin of the opportunity to comment on the draft 2015 Water Quality Assessment and Listing Methodology used to meet Sections 303(d) and 305(b) federal Clean Water Act requirements.  Comments are due November 17.  A copy of the methodology will be posted and comments can be submitted to DEP via its eComment webpage.
