Bills Introduced

The following bills of interest were introduced this week--

Residual Waste Fees/Growing Greener: House Bill 1624 (Everett-R-Lycoming) extending the existing $2.25/ton Recycling Fee and $4.00/ton Growing Greener Fee to residual waste disposed of in landfills and requires all revenue generated to by the $4/ton fee to be deposited in the Environmental Stewardship (Growing Greener) Fund from the first dollar (sponsor summary).
