DEP Finalizes New Statewide Nonpoint Source Pollution Management Plan

The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the November 14 PA Bulletin it has finalized an update to its statewide Nonpoint Source Management Plan.

The Plan is required by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to describe how the Commonwealth plans to address nonpoint source pollution and milestones to demonstrate progress in reducing nonpoint source pollution.

Nonpoint source pollution comes from agricultural and stormwater runoff, resource extractions and industrial activities.
