Environmental Quality Board Meeting Now Feb. 3 To Consider Final Drilling Regulations
|
The Environmental Quality Board meeting to consider the final Chapter 78 (conventional) and 78A (Marcellus) drilling regulations will now be February 3 so it does not conflict with the Governor’s budget address on February 2. The EQB will not have a January meeting. Scott Perry, DEP Deputy Secretary for Oil and Gas Management, told the Citizens Advisory Council, the EQB members will be sent materials for the February 3 meeting on or about January 6, which would have been the normal time for a January meeting.
